Senior Embedded Product Manager

About the Team:

We are actively looking for an energetic and experienced senior product manager to drive Inscape’s embedded software and roadmap serving its rapidly growing TV base. As a senior product manager reporting into our VP of Product, you will have significant leadership and influence on the evolution of our embedded Product & Quality.


The perfect candidate must be innovative, experienced and results-oriented willing to define requirements, communicate them and drive the execution of new capabilities, tools and documentation.


You will need to understand customers, partners and legal requirements and be responsible for driving and synthesizing these into new product features, user scenarios and roadmaps. In this role, you will work directly with TVs and chipsets manufacturers, manage the relationship and their expectations. You will also be working closely with the embedded engineering team and other stakeholders in the company.

About You:

  • 5+ years product management experience working on low-level embedded systems
  • Experience in Linux OSs
  • Experience working on products that use video technologies such as FFMPEG
  • Proven ability to ship highly complex products leading both internal engineering and cross-functional teams as well as external vendor relationships
  • Very organized and rigorous follow up skills
  • Willingness and desire to roll up sleeves and get hands dirty
  • Outstanding communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Knowledge in SQL, C and REST APIs
  • Computer science degree or equivalent

What You Will Do:

  • Manage TV manufacturers relationships
  • Write product requirements documents, use cases and ensure clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, partners and development teams
  • Contribute to the overall product roadmap, and manage prioritization and tradeoffs against developers, TV firmware releases and time to market
  • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
  • Define key metrics & goals for the embedded System team and partner with the Tech Lead to accomplish them
  • Play a key role in enhancing quality processes
