We’re looking for a Director, HR to join VIZIO! Working closely with multiple organizations across VIZIO, you’ll align our people strategy to help the business achieve strategic and operational objectives. Working from our Irvine, CA headquarters, you’ll be responsible for HR Operations, HRIS, Talent Management, Benefits and Wellness, Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Payroll, and HRBP’s. You will be responsible for leading the HR organization on designing and executing core initiatives that deliver an amazing experience for our employees.

 

What you’ll do:

 

People Strategy/Business Partner:

 

  • Perform as the strategic HR partner to the multiple executive teams to influence initiatives that attract, develop, and retain employees to support our short and long-term business goals
  • Utilize various and disparate data sources to identify trends and patterns to optimize short- and long-term workforce plan decisions
  • Serve as internal coach and trusted advisor to business leaders
  • Drive, and participate in, execution of the HR talent and Teamwork Agenda
  • Lead and develop a team of HR Business Partners/COE’s

 

Performance & Talent Management:

 

  • Recommend, develop, and implement performance, development, talent review, and succession planning processes
  • Provide counsel and guidance on people management and development issues
  • Function as an executive coach to key clients and leaders
  • Recommend, develop, and implement Learning & Development programs tailored to the teams you support in partnership with the L&D function

 

Compensation & Benefits:

 

  • Oversee the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure that equitable pay for performance is in place, including relevant pay structures and reward mechanisms for the unique needs of the teams supported
  • Sit on the Benefits Committee as a main decision maker to drive competitive Benefits packages

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Strong ability to guide and influence HR initiatives amongst the Executive leadership team creating a strong bond of trust and credibility
  • Participate in Executive management meetings to provide insight on workforce analytics and tell the story on how the results translate into human capital strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including consultation, collaboration and influence
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Technical capabilities: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, HRIS System (SAP SuccessFactors, preferred)
  • Strong consultative and relationship building skills to support agency managers and convert candidates

 

Required Experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree, Area of study: Human Resources, Business, Social Sciences required; Master’s degree, MBA preferred
  • 8-10 years of relevant HR Manager/Business Partner experience, with 5+ years of supervising or managing individuals
  • Strong understanding of the various HR Functions (TA, Talent Management, Health and Welfare, payroll, recruiting, HRIS, Operations and Compensation)
  • Experience in an entrepreneurial environment, consumer electronics
