As a Business Systems Analyst - Marketing Systems within VIZIO’s Information Technology team, this individual plays a critical role working closely with the business and across the Information Technology organization defining, delivering and supporting IT business solutions and supporting roadmaps.

 

In summary this position:  provides cost effective business systems and applications analysis in support of the development and implementation of business applications; Includes evaluation, analysis, documentation of requirements, current processes, translation into recommended future processes, proper system requirement specifications and configuration; formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both end-user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems, applications and industry requirements.

 

  • Advanced functional knowledge of Web Sites for the supported business functions and processes, including:  Content Management and e-Commerce applications and experience in translating and executing digital strategy.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to measure impact of website strategy across all channels and to refine strategy driven by data-based insights from web tracking metrics.
  • Good understanding of Web Design, Graphics, to support effective and optimal solution design analysis, deployment and support of Web based solutions. 
  • Study website behavior patterns to analyze and optimize business results, a good understanding of SEO techniques, tagging, and workflow and user experience design.
  • Synthesize data from multiple sources, developing assumptions where needed, to drive customer insights and personalization strategies.
  • Experience working with WCMS, Digital Asset Management and eCommerce platforms.
  • Good working knowledge with a content authoring and management suite such as Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related Adobe technologies.
  • Working knowledge of digital payment systems, experience with ecommerce platforms is required. Accounting background is a plus.
  • Good understanding of Analytics, metrics creation, segmentation and reporting is a plus.
  • Analyze business requirements/processes and system integration considerations to determine appropriate technology solutions; Performs testing and debugging of applications; Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • Help with acquiring and consolidating product information from a variety of systems, validate information, and map source formats to your data model.
  • Manage product master data, including hierarchy, structure, validations, versioning and enriching with attributes, descriptions, documentation and other data-related components.

  • Knowledgeable about the elements of design as well as the basic design principles as well as typography best practices, how to use images, layout principals and more.
  • Well versed in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, basics of SEO, A/B Testing, SQL Query and advanced analytics.
  • Experience in project management methodologies - Agile, Waterfall.
  • Good understanding of WCMS technologies, preferably experienced with platforms such as Adobe.
  • Good understanding of digital payment options and Accounting best practices.

  • Utilizes best practice processes around work assignments, project management, and quality of output while maximizing overall team performance.
  • Has full functional knowledge of area of responsibility.
  • Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of systems analysis, while considering the business implication of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
  • Creates communication plans (correspondence, presentations and other materials) for knowledge transfer to others.
  • Supports multiple application areas, functions or processes.
  • Provides informal mentoring to less experienced colleagues.
  • Manages critical projects, customer engagements or business processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Conducts unit test, system test, integration test and assists in user testing.
  • Train and support business users in their day to day involvement in SharePoint sites.          

 

Required Qualifications:

 

  • Undergraduate degree and 6-10 years relevant experience or Graduate degree and 4-8 years relevant experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of Web Implementation methodology, project management, analytical/problem solving skills and relevant business and technology skills. 
  • In-depth disciplinary knowledge; leverages business acumen and subject matter expertise.
  • Provides deep subject matter expertise, advice and program delivery.

  • Working knowledge of and ability to put into practice commonly used SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.).
  • Experience working with Adobe AEM, Analytics, Target, DAM & Brand Portal.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and DMP
